King of the Western Realm, Virapaksa, also known as the aspect of Fate. He lives in the far west region of the celestial realm that he always stay alert and vigilant against those who want to offend Buddhism. Unlike the King of Southern and Eastern Realm who hold the sword and musical instrument respectively, Virapaksa holds a tangled serpent on his left forearm in which he can whirl a tremendous power to command the dragon tribes. As a result, Virapaksa is also known as the Despot of Thousand Dragons.
It is noticeable that he has his right eye covered with relic band as the principle is similar to the King of Eastern Realm. Wherever there is any object being seen by him, they shall then instantaneously burn into ash. Whilst for his left eye, Virapaksa can see through those beings' fate from the beginning of time to the future even though they have been reincarnated thousand times. Meanwhile there is some saying about Virapaksa is that he is actually a Garuda, Buddhism term for Pheonix, that literally, cannot die as it rebirths repeatedly. That's why, with Virapaksa's ability to speak out others' fate and being an immortal, he is trapped by solitude for eons, and he wishes that one day, he can be gone to a place where he shall no longer foresee the suffering in this mortal world.
